Peter Meakin is a BAFTA nominated lighting camera man and among the last of a generation to be formally trained in the convention of film production by the BBC This discipline combined with his natural observational & pre emptive nature serves him well as a documentary camera man. His ability to interpret story and content and construct visual narrative has gained him the respect of international productions and their trust allowing him to shoot remotely Peter is well versed in the logistics of international travel having filmed in numerous countries and has enjoyed working in such diverse environments as base camp Everest to the desert of the Sahara Fully conversant with HD and mindful of imaging trends such as DSLR he is an owner operator of Sony xd700 and Canon 5D cameras which compliment his shooting kit
